COMPANY PROFILE

Deep Publications Ltd. was formed in 2005 to raise money for charity* through marketing photographs. While this remains our main focus, our photographers also undertake portraits, weddings and commissioned work and films.

Deep Publications Ltd. is a New Zealand based company (with one USA based photographer/film maker). Most of our photographs have been taken in New Zealand or Australia. We can also supply images from Britain, Sweden and the USA.

Deep Publications Ltd. is committed to a high ethical standard. All work offered is original or fully credited. We would like to support organisations who work for community or conservation causes. Talk to us about special licence prices or if there is any other way you think we can help you.

*The charitable aim is to establish working farms for the socially disfunctional. It will require approximately $100,000 to ensure tentative support from other groups becomes a commitment.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS

1) DEEP Publications Ltd. will keep 5% of sales money. As this money is for charity, photographers can choose to donate a higher percentage.

2) Images must be of a sufficient aesthetic standard and fit the style of the company. This is a highly subjective thing so the director will decide if a photo meets this requirement!

3) We need to have digital files capable of being printed up to 20 inches while retaining good detail and tone. As an alternative, we have to be satisfied that you can produce these prints yourself from slide or negative. Contact us to discuss this (we are flexible!).

4) Photographs of people will need a signed model release form. We can supply these.

5) We try to be open minded but prefer not to have images which have been overly 'Photoshopped' or which better fit the category 'digital art'. However, we want to encourage creative photography.

6) Please do not send anything dodgy!

7) Please provide a 'signature photo' you would like associated with your name on the site.

8) Submission of photographs for this site implies the copyright belongs to the photographer. If work is not yours you will be taken off the site.
